A few days ago, I was browsing online for a decent café that's a little bit far from my office. Being the avid traveler that I am, I stumbled across a café in Prague called Smižka. It stands out from the rest of its neighborhood because it has an array of baked goods as well as teas and coffees on offer. The food looked amazing, so much so that my first thought was to go straight there after work to grab some snacks for later at home. With so much thinking inside my head, I ordered my food and went to sit down. As I took a bite of my home-made apple pie (which was surprisingly delicious) it felt like the ground was moving under me. I wanted to test out this neat app that I had downloaded onto my smartphone called "Play Money Paks.." only to find that the app didn't work at all! Not even Hello Kitty's Dream House (which worked great on every other phone) gave me any luck whatsoever. Having accepted defeat, I reluctantly deleted the app from my phone, too ashamed to tell anyone about this embarrassing side-effect of the application. I then noticed that the same thing had happened to all of my friends back when they tried to use the app. The only difference was that they all gave up after buying the app online for $30. That's when it dawned on me that I might not be alone in this horrendous ordeal, and set out on a quest to find the exact cause behind the glitch. I did some research (which wasn't easy because there was no information about anything online) and found out why it didn't work. It turned out that this thing called "play money" contains a virus that's inside each and every one of the paks that you download. As well, the moneypaks are packaged in plastic bags along with instructions on how to use them. The instructions included in the paks are simply too vague for someone who's not familiar with the app to understand how to use it properly. Therefore, when I was downloading one of my friends' play moneypak, she didn't even know what she was doing after opening it. All she did was have fun squirting whipped cream all over her face because she thought it would help her look pretty in front of her boyfriend. That's when I realized that the paks were packaged with such strong instructions (which were clearly meant for idiots) which is why they failed. After realizing this, I thought of how I could make the apps work properly and went to test out the app on my brother's phone. Much to my amazement, it worked perfectly on his phone! He must have never bothered to read any of those vague instructions on the paks because he just looked at the "play money" and saw that there was a menu option called "Paks".
